UPESSC Uttar Pradesh TET Exam 2026: Eligibility Criteria
TET Primary Teacher (Class 1-5)

  • Candidates must have Bachelor’s degree from NCTE recognized institute e.g. with valid teacher training qualification BTC, B.L.Ed, or equivalent. Final year candidates are also eligible. In general, a Minimum 50% marks in graduation Or relevant training program is required.
TET Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6-8)

  • Candidates must have bachelor’s degree With at least 50% marks (45% in some cases as per rule) from NCTE approved institute e.g. with valid teacher training qualification B.Ed, BTC, B.El.Ed, or equivalent. Final year candidates of these courses are also eligible. Additionally, candidates with S.special education qualification (like special education) RCI-accredited institutions are eligible. In some cases, Candidates with 50% marks in intermediate and a 4 Year Integrated Learning Program Can also apply.
